Valentina H. Castillo
Teacher at Oakwood Public School, loves biology

I teach biology at Oakwood Public School in Vancouver since 1978. Most days I teach first-year students, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Valentina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Valentina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
