Valentina Antônia Ramos
Coached boxing for 32 years in Guarulhos
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Harbor Youth Club
- 1980 to 2012
- Portuguese
For 32 years I ran the boxing program at Harbor Youth Club in Guarulhos. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Valentina
If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Valentina: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
