Uzma Kiran Ismail
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇰 Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan
- Oakwood Works
- 1991 to 2013
- English, Punjabi
My trade is leatherwork. I opened my own shop in 1991 in Rawalpindi and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Uzma
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
