Uzma Javeria Farooqi
Table tennis coach, Karachi Boxing Gym
- 🇵🇰 Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
- 1998 to 2009
- English
I coached table tennis at Karachi Boxing Gym from 1998 to 2009. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

What gifts mean to Uzma: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
