I've been a nurse for twelve years, most of them in dialysis at Mount Pleasant Health Center in Hồ Chí Minh City. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
