I taught special education at Victory Secondary School in Houston from 1992 to 2015. Most days I taught Grade 8, and my door was open at lunch.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Uyên
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
