Utami Dewi Saputra
Watercolor and photography artist
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Old Eastgate Studio
- Since 1993
- English
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1993 at Old Eastgate Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Utami
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Utami: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
