Usman Rizwan Ismail
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇵🇰 Islamabad, Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan
- Sunrise Sports Club
- 1987 to 2010
- English
For 23 years I ran the rugby program at Sunrise Sports Club in Islamabad. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Usman
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Usman: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
