Usman Musa Quadri
English literature and economics teacher, Kano
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Stonebridge Secondary School
- Since 1990

For 36 years I have been the English literature teacher at Stonebridge Secondary School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Usman
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Usman: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
