Usman Dayo Ogunleye
Painter, potter and teacher at Wudil Print Workshop
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Wudil Print Workshop
- Since 2013
- English, Yoruba, French
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 2013 at Wudil Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I sing in a choir.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Usman
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Usman: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
