Usha R. Gill

Social studies and mathematics teacher, Kozhikode

  • 🇮🇳 Kozhikode, Kerala, India
  • Silverlake High School
  • 2006 to 2021
  • English, Hindi
For 15 years I was the social studies teacher at Silverlake High School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Usha

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
