Usain Bailey
Carpentry, done properly
- 🇯🇲 Spanish Town, Saint Catherine, Jamaica
- Little Spanish Town Trades Guild
- Since 2000
- English
I've worked in carpentry since 2000. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,040 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 15 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.

What gifts mean to Usain: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
