I coached cross country at Tel Aviv Meadowbank Football Club from 1993 to 2003. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Uri: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
