For 13 years I have been the home economics teacher at Colombo Middle School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Upul
