Upendo Ruth Odhiambo

Teacher at Mount Pleasant Secondary School, loves early years

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Mount Pleasant Secondary School
  • 1978 to 2008
  • English, Swahili
I taught early years and computer science at Mount Pleasant Secondary School, Dar es Salaam. I answered every email, even at midnight. I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Upendo

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me early years in 2009 at Mount Pleasant Secondary School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake. Truly.
