Upendo Rose Simiyu

Farmer and teacher of young growers

  • 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
  • The Mount Pleasant Ranch
  • 2001 to 2011
  • English, Swahili
I've grown cocoa from 2001 to 2011, with a bit of rice on the side. I'm up before the sun most days. I teach local school groups about where food comes from. I garden badly but happily. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
