Upendo Margaret Wekesa
Small business mentor, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Liberty Mentoring Circle
- 1989 to 2020
- English, Swahili
For 31 years I've mentored people in small business and teaching. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I garden badly but happily.
More about Upendo
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Upendo: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
