Upendo Jepkoech Onyango
Design mentor, Fort Portal
- 🇺🇬 Fort Portal, Western Region, Uganda
- Fort Portal Foundation
- 1980 to 1990
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 230 people through Fort Portal Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Upendo
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Upendo: Any gift helps me keep running a free monthly workshop.
