Unathi Tshabalala
Professor of materials science, Johannesburg Polytechnic
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Polytechnic
- Since 1986
- English, Afrikaans
I teach materials science at Johannesburg Polytechnic since 1986, and supervised 40 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
