Unathi J. Du Plessis
Boxing coach, Durban Youth Club
- 🇿🇦 Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- Since 2016
- English, Afrikaans
For ten years I've run the boxing program at Durban Youth Club in Durban. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Unathi
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Unathi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Newcastle.
