Unathi B. Venter
Agriculture and Spanish teacher, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Fairview Secondary School
- 2010 to 2024
- English, Afrikaans
For 14 years I was the agriculture teacher at Fairview Secondary School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Unathi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
