Umesh R. Sharma

Teacher at Oakwood Middle School, loves early years

🇨🇦 Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada
Oakwood Middle School
1999 to 2025
English, Hindi

I taught early years at Oakwood Middle School in Sydney from 1999 to 2025. Most days I taught teenagers, and I played music while people worked. Over the years I had 1,380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Umesh

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
