Umesh J. Rawat
Teacher at Newport Academy, loves Spanish
- 🇬🇧 Newport, Wales, United Kingdom
- Newport Academy
- Since 1999
- English, Hindi
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Umesh
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me Spanish in 2020 at Newport Academy. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.

You taught me Spanish in 2002 at Newport Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly
