I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 470 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Umar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
