Umar Umar Setiawan
16 years teaching sociology at Bandung State University

- English
I teach sociology at Bandung State University since 2007, and supervised 57 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Umar
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Umar: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
