Umar Tarar

Painter, potter and teacher at Lahore Art Collective

  • 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
  • Lahore Art Collective
  • 1985 to 2017
  • English, Urdu
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 1985 at Lahore Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I run most mornings. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Umar

I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
