Umar Salim

Violin and gospel teacher

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Baobab Ensemble
  • Since 2017
  • English
I've played violin since 2017, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Umar

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
