Umar Mulyadi Harahap

Environmental science and economics teacher, Jakarta Barat

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Jakarta Barat Technical College
  • 2004 to 2024
  • English, Indonesian
For 20 years I was the environmental science teacher at Jakarta Barat Technical College. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never once raised my voice. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Umar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
