For 20 years I was the English literature teacher at Phoenix Middle School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Umar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me English literature in 1984 at Phoenix Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam
