Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices

My trade is upholstery. I opened my own shop in 1988 in Medan and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Umar: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 2002 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Mangaluru.
