For 43 years I've mentored people in teaching and writing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Umar
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Umar: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
