I taught art at Trinity Academy in Peshawar from 1990 to 2024. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Umar
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Umar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
