Uma T. Swamy
Painter, potter and teacher at The Varanasi Gallery
- 🇮🇳 Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Since 1995
- English, Tamil
I'm a watercolor artist based in Varanasi. I've been making things since 1995 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I make terrible puns.
More about Uma
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

I bought one of your pieces in 1998. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Fresno.
