Uma P. Prabhu
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Nashik, Maharashtra, India
- Phoenix Repairs
- 1981 to 1996
- English
I've worked in pottery from 1981 to 1996. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 710 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Uma
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
