Uma C. Varma
Teacher at Orchid Academy, loves French
- 🇮🇳 Siliguri, West Bengal, India
- Orchid Academy
- Since 2006
- English, Kannada
For 20 years I have been the French teacher at Orchid Academy. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Uma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I'm a software developer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Ankara.
