Uma B. Nadar

Painter, potter and teacher at Old Crescent Gallery

  • 🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India
  • Old Crescent Gallery
  • 1993 to 2009
  • English, Tamil
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1993 at Old Crescent Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I sing in a choir. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Uma: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
