Udara Silva

Retired materials science lecturer

  • 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
  • Colombo Institute of Technology
  • 1982 to 2002
  • English
I spent 20 years as a lecturer in materials science at Colombo Institute of Technology in Colombo. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job. I'm still learning every day.

More about Udara

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
