Uchenna Zubby Alabi
Bicycle repair for 17 years in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Little Lagos Trades Guild
- 2002 to 2019
- English, Hausa
I've worked in bicycle repair from 2002 to 2019. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 310 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
More about Uchenna
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Uchenna: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
