Uchenna Tunde Ogunleye
Coached boxing for 15 years in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Central Athletic Club
- Since 2011
- English, Yoruba
I've coached boxing at Lagos Central Athletic Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Uchenna
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Uchenna: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
