Uchenna Adewale Raji
Brass band player and teacher in Kano
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Quartet
- Since 1979
- English, Hausa
I've played brass band since 1979, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Uchenna
I write my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.
