27 years teaching special education in Lagos

For 18 years I have been the special education teacher at Mount Pleasant Public School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Uche
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Uche: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
