Uche Uchenna Zakari
Glass art artist in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Studio
- Since 1981
- English
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1981 at Ikeja Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I run most mornings.
More about Uche
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Uche: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
