For 34 years I ran the tennis program at Lagos Swimming Club in Lagos. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Uche: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
