Uche Idowu Williams
Musician with Lagos Kilimanjaro Orchestra
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Kilimanjaro Orchestra
- 1988 to 1996
- English, Igbo
I play saxophone and classical. I started in 1988 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Uche
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
