Uche Grace Ogunbanjo
Wrestling and fitness coach, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Redwood Sports Club
- 1992 to 2025
- English, Igbo
For 33 years I ran the wrestling program at Redwood Sports Club in Lagos. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Uche
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
