Tushar H. Deshmukh
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
- The Nagpur Repairs
- 1991 to 2016
- English, Gujarati
I've worked in baking from 1991 to 2016. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 800 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.
More about Tushar
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Tushar: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
