Tunde Bolaji Tijani
21 years teaching environmental science in Abuja
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Northside High School
- 1979 to 2003
- English, Hausa
For 24 years I was the environmental science teacher at Northside High School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Tunde
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Tunde: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Year 9 class in 1979. You believed I could do it before I did! Thank you again.

You taught me environmental science in 1992 at Northside High School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand

I'm a architect now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Dallas.
