I taught music at Redwood Boys' School in Kisumu from 2001 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 690 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Tumusiime: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
