I taught mathematics at İzmir Middle School in İzmir from 1995 to 2010. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Tuğba: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2022 at İzmir Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
