I've been a nurse for 42 years, most of them in midwifery at Ekurhuleni Regional Medical Center in Ekurhuleni. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
